Good things come in…fours? Sparks proves it with four big wins at Event Marketer’s Experience Design Awards 2024! From Best Build, to Overall Experience, to Special Design categories, Sparks certainly made its mark this year with campaigns for Siemens, HUMAN Security, Google and Netflix.

Siemens

Our work for Siemens’ Industrial Metaverse Campaign at CES won gold in the Best Build Category “Best Overall Trade Show Exhibit (50' x 50' and Up).”

This captivating 50’x70’ hybrid exhibit blended custom, rental, and technology-driven elements that conveyed Siemens' narrative and greatly increased customer engagement. Siemens' content was showcased across four vignettes, representing how client problems were solved through Siemens’ technology. The exhibit captured the attention of attendees through luminescent cubes brought together with a curated color scheme. By connecting with visitors on an emotional level through client stories, Sparks helped to reinforce the brand as a leading technology company.

HUMAN Security

Our booth for HUMAN Security at Black Hat: Anatomy of a Threat secured the silver! This space was recognized in the Best Build Category “Best Use of Signage or Décor.”

Sparks honored HUMAN’s origin story in this project’s build, creating a spellbinding, sci-fi bookstore. Materials came from existing properties and various vintage and antique stores, allowing the signage and decor to fully immerse attendees into a charming, engaging space. Fresh and functional, Sparks’ build helped solidify HUMAN’s position as a leader in cybersecurity.

Google I/O

Classy, colorful and creative, Google I/O 2024 took home the bronze in the Overall Experience Design category “Best Outdoor Environment.”

Sparks’ team designed and crafted dynamic spaces for attendees to enjoy. Complete with vibrant lounges, keynote stages, and hands-on demo areas, our designs effectively showcased Google’s technology. Featuring keynote presentations, exclusive product announcement,s and engaging experience booths like this year’s AI Sandbox, Google I/O was a stimulating and educational experience for all attendees. Together, we created an exciting, fun, interactive environment for attendees to make memories and enjoy this three-day outdoor celebration of Google technology.

Netflix

Last but not least, our work for Netflix FYSEE claimed bronze in the Special Design Category “New! Most Innovative Experience Design.”

Sparks designed immersive spaces to highlight shows like 3 Body Problem, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and more. Inside 3 Body Problem’s dome-shaped space, our mini theater-like design approach explored the show and amplified key moments on a large screen (projectors/LEDs). Attendees interacted with the central helmet table, altering the content displayed around them and further enhancing their experience. Sparks exhibited more hands-on opportunities across the event in hopes of garnishing Emmy nominations for the 2024 season.
