Sparks is thrilled to announce that we’ve been named ADWEEK’s 2024 Experiential Agency of the Year!

ADWEEK is the go-to source of news in the marketing world. Through a variety of platforms like print, digital, events, podcasts and more, ADWEEK reaches over six million professional marketers.

The ADWEEK Experiential Awards honor the industry's most innovative and groundbreaking agencies, recognizing excellence across more than 34 categories. The coveted Experiential Agency of the Year award, however, is reserved for a single standout agency that embodies unparalleled creativity, originality, and overall excellence during the evaluation period of January 1, 2023, to August 1, 2024.

During this period, Sparks achieved remarkable milestones, navigating a significant global merger while experiencing extraordinary growth. With a 90% client retention rate, a 94% employee retention rate, and the acquisition of 39 new clients in FY24 alone, Sparks’ achievements are a testament to its strategic vision and leadership in experiential marketing.

Being named Experiential Agency of the Year is a testament to our team's relentless commitment to innovation and excellence.

"Being named Experiential Agency of the Year is a testament to our team's relentless commitment to innovation and excellence. This recognition underscores our ability to consistently deliver groundbreaking experiences that exceed the evolving expectations of both our clients and their audiences,” says David Sudjian, CEO, Sparks. “Our mission is and always will be to be known as the premier global brand experience agency, driving customer engagement and business impact for the world's most iconic brands."

The success of projects like Netflix FYSEE, Google I/O, Siemens: The Industrial Metaverse Comes Alive at CES and others also contributed to this win.

"We couldn’t have achieved this without the trust of our incredible clients and the unwavering dedication of our talented team,” says Kristy Elisano, CMO, Sparks. “This recognition not only validates our relentless pursuit of excellence but also fuels our drive to raise the bar, push creative boundaries, and continue to shape the future of experiential marketing.”

Sparks and the other category winners were unveiled today in ADWEEK's Experiential Awards issue. In it, ADWEEK wrote:

For 105 years, Sparks has been one of the top experiential marketing agencies on the globe, and they’re only getting better. In 2024, the company even had their best year in their century-plus existence. Chief among the factors in reaching that milestone was the successful merger with Freeman, another global leader in corporate events, making them an unparalleled powerhouse amongst the brand experience industry. Sparks was able to retain all its top clients, many who have trusted them for decades, including Fortune 1000 brands like Google, Anheuser-Busch and T-Mobile. Thanks to the Freeman merger, Sparks also gained the likes of Amazon, Cisco and Kohler. What could have been a mere year of transition, instead saw Sparks hit a new peak, increasing its revenue by 13.5% to gain over $800 Million. Now more powerful than ever, Sparks sits at the forefront of an industry set to continue providing stunning campaigns for a diverse group of brands deep into the future.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and our gratitude to ADWEEK for this incredible honor.
