THQ Nordic Showcases Latest Game Titles in 3D at E3
THQ Nordic’s presence at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (aka E3) - the premier global event for video and computer gaming and related products — cements the brand’s reputation as a key player in the gaming industry. The THQ Nordic E3 experience at the Los Angeles Convention Center is all about showcasing their latest game titles to fans in an interactive, multi-sensory, and truly unforgettable way.
Right from the start of the experience, a large THQ Nordic logo greets attendees, with LED screens looping videos of game commercials, setting the stage for a vibrant, sensory environment. The showstopper element of the THQ Nordic experience? A Monster Jam Steel Titans takeover. Four of the game’s popular trucks are on display both inside and outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center, greeting E3 attendees as soon as they arrive at the event. At the THQ Nordic booth, visitors have the exclusive opportunity to play the actual Monster Jam Steel Titans before it hits stores.
Aside from Monster Jam Steel Titans, the brand gives attendees the chance to demo Biomutant, Destroy All Humans!, Desperados III, Darksiders Genesis, and Wreckfest — talk about a gaming paradise! With 20+ demo stations for each title, fans have a chance to play each game for 10 minute intervals. Need to talk business? Step into one of the private meeting rooms away from the gaming space.
Upping the immersive ante to transport fans into other worlds, THQ Nordic breaks out scenes from each game, using lighting and props to create full scenic experiences, all while fans demo different titles. A truly “out-of-this-world” element? Aliens! Playing off their game, Destroy All Humans!, whose main character is an alien invader aiming to conquer Earth, THQ Nordic’s experience is dotted with “real-life” aliens, as well as a 25-ft. Inflatable alien head as part of the brand’s outdoor activation.
Speaking of the outdoor activation, that element “levels up” the entire experience, complete with a DJ and lounge seating, 22 (YES 22) demos, and the aforementioned monster trucks. Building pre-show buzz, creating the perfect Instagram moments, and getting fans talking? Check, check, and check!
