The Applied Materials Intersolar Europe experience incorporates two business units into one cohesive floor presence. Under the overarching theme, “Powering the c-Si Roadmap,” the experience boasts high traffic among key decision-makers within the global solar industry.
With over 65,000 attendees, Intersolar Europe is the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry and its partners. Held in Munich, Germany every year, the focus areas are photovoltaics, solar thermal technologies, solar power plants, as well as grid infrastructure and solutions for the integration of renewable energy. The conference is the industry’s most important platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and service providers.
Applied Materials is the world’s number one provider of solar PV equipment. The company offers solar wafer and cell manufacturers unique solutions: state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, process know-how and advanced automation. In addition to solar, the company supplies equipment, services and software for the manufacture of semiconductor chips, flat panel displays for computers, smartphones and televisions.
The Applied Materials Intersolar design incorporates the physical space of the two exhibiting business units; 290 sqm. and 1,119 sqm. A double deck design smartly connects the two entities. The architecture facilitates the display and live operation of a very large [7.6 m. x 2.3 m.] manufacturing tool. The experience includes technology demonstrations, multiple individual and connected digital touch points.
