As part of a special event for Google during the Consumer Electronics Show in January, Sparks created a virtual-reality experience to demonstrate the Waze platform and user experience. This experience showcased waze's interface, tools and engagement opportunities. Using Google Cardboard, the virtual-reality film put users in the driver’s seat on a road trip to Las Vegas through a quirky, animated world

The immersive VR app is designed to transport media executives into the world of the Waze platform, a community-driven GPS navigation app where drivers in a specific area share real-time traffic and road information like accidents, police sightings and alternative routes. The goal was to give media executives a first-hand look at the tools and engagement opportunities available on Waze.

Waze is about coming together as a community to navigate traffic. Imagine millions of drivers out on the roads, working together towards a common goal: to outsmart traffic and get everyone the best route to work and back, every day.Save on gas, every time you fill up by navigating to the cheapest station on your route, all powered by community-shared gas prices. By working together to report prices at the pump, Waze drivers can always save some gas money and time.
