Sparks Spreads Cheer By Giving Back to Healthcare Heroes

Resilience. Effort. Dedication. Those are just some of the qualities we’ve seen in so many people -- from our friends and family, to our colleagues and neighbors -- despite this year bringing unprecedented challenges. In a time that’s been unlike any other, Sparks is choosing to honor that resilient spirit by thanking those who have and continue to provide care, comfort and protection to our communities -- our healthcare heroes.
To bring holiday cheer to essential frontline healthcare workers fighting COVID-19 across the country, Sparkies nationwide are personally delivering cake pops to 1,500 ICU workers at various local hospitals in our eight US locations.
“We can never repay them for their tireless efforts but we hope that delivering this brief moment of appreciation shows them they are in our thoughts and prayers,” says Kristy Elisano, Sparks Chief Marketing Officer.
Providing support to frontline healthcare workers in our communities has been an important part of our efforts in the wake of the pandemic. This includes the donation earlier this year of masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and other essentials to hospitals, critical care centers, fire departments, and more.
