Sparks Helps Bud Revamp Wholesaler Meeting
Budweiser had their most successful year in over a decade. As a result, the company decided to do things a little differently at its annual wholesaler meeting. On Jan. 25 and 26, Budweiser set up a massive, 50,000 sq. ft. immersive experience called Bud World. Within the giant space, Sparks helped Budweiser create 4 different zones to represent their quarterly campaign goals for this year. Obviously, it wouldn't be a Budweiser event without plenty of beer and an appearance by the famous Clydesdales.
The Four Bud World Zones Included:
- Summer Immersion Zone - a salute to summer features new branded merch, American flags, outdoor furniture and coolers.
- Bud and Burgers Zone - a food truck that will roll out this summer featuring tasty bites like the Budweiser Guacamole Burger.
- The "Always On" Zone - spotlights Bud's sponsorships deals with the NBA and MLB.
- The Holiday Zone - photo ops with the famed Budweiser Clydesdales and Bud staffers wearing holiday-themed sweaters.
Our objective at this event was to create an immersive experience that celebrates the accomplishment of Budweiser's wholesalers. Most of all, it was great recognize some of the people behind the King of Beers. Event Marketer had a great write-up on this amazing b-to-b event saying:
"Budweiser turned the Anheuser-Busch 2016 Wholesaler Sales & Marketing Communication Meeting (SAMCOM) on its head this year with a two-day “Bud World” activation, offering attendees a bolder, more immersive event platform that steered away from the standard conference model."
