TrendChats: A Focus on the State of Healthcare Event Marketing

Sparks announces the next episode of TrendChats, an experiential marketing discussion series produced in partnership with industry publication Event Marketer. Set to air live on LinkedIn on Tuesday, June 29th at 2:00 PM EST, the focus of the panel, which features Sparks’ Chief Creative Officer, Mike Ellery along with other industry thought leaders, will be on the current state — and future — of healthcare event marketing.

“We’ll be discussing the future of healthcare events, the changes, and more importantly, the opportunities that the pandemic has provided us with and how we provide value to attendees and create ‘only IRL’ moments that will move the needle for your target audience,” says Ellery about what viewers can expect to hear on Tuesday.

The TrendChats healthcare event marketing discussion comes at a time when the events and trade show industry is beginning to see an even greater resurgence of live experiences. This includes the upcoming HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) conference. Set to return to a live format in Las Vegas this August, the event will include a multitude of health and safety protocols.

“The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) announced Monday morning that it has adopted a “vaccination required” approach for all attendees, exhibitors, and HIMSS staff for HIMSS21, slated to take place August 9-13 in Las Vegas,” notes Fierce Healthcare. “HIMSS21 will be the largest on-site healthcare conference since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

HIMSS21 comes as one of many healthcare programs set to be held in a live format in 2021, and because of the nuances that come with the healthcare industry as a whole, it’s likely going to be more important than ever for experiential professionals to get a deeper understanding of what to pay attention to as they plan any future healthcare event programs.
