What to Expect at CES

CES 2025 is around the corner and while this event has always been the biggest tech playground on the planet, this year we’ll see more cutting-edge innovations and big ideas that will, quite literally, shape tomorrow. From January 7-10, 2025, the tech industry leaders will join together in Las Vegas to network, share ideas, projects and more. A powerful, well-renowned showcase for product announcements and launchpad for innovations, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES is the trade show to explore tech trends and advancements). So…what can you expect to be in store at CES 2025?

This year, the overarching theme is “Dive In.” In this digital age, technology is advancing faster than ever before. It’s almost impossible to keep up. How do the most powerful brands in the business not only keep up, but get ahead of trends? This year’s theme will spotlight how humanity and innovation together can create connections, solve global challenges and more in order to “dive” into tomorrow before it’s even begun.

Over the years, Sparks CES veterans and industry experts have helped brands of all sizes stage successful CES activations. With a new theme and an expected 4,000+ exhibitors, CES 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest and best it’s ever been.

Hot Topics

We anticipate new experiences in 2025 as the mix of product groups broadens to include hundreds of CES newcomers, from “cutting-edge start-ups to Fortune 500 companies,” Cat Forgione, Director of CES Communications writes.

Though you can look forward to a multitude of conversations on a variety of tech-topics, here are the big three this time around.

Artificial Intelligence

We’ve all seen the massive impact AI has had on brands, tech and the world. It dominated CES 2024, and it’s not going away anytime soon. This year, though, there might be less of a focus on what brands can do with AI technology, but rather how it’s now being used to make an impact.

With a remarkable 43,000+ attendees interested in this topic, Modev: The AI House will be a hot spot. Here, attendees can spend a full day with industry leaders, networking and attending panels.

Keep an eye out for notable exhibitors including Accenture, AMD, Smartsound and Wyebot.

Digital Health

When it comes to digital health, “potential becomes progress” at CES. Industry leaders from all over the world are designing technology that can change the future of healthcare, making products more cost efficient and appealing to the patient.

Count on exhibitors like Ceragem, Dassault Systemes and electronRx, with an additional Modev conference opportunity to explore the future of NeuroTech.

Vehicle Tech and Advanced Mobility

From the streets to the skies, transportation technology has certainly advanced astronomically in recent years. What’s coming next? Anticipate “a bold new world of conveniences, efficiencies and smart operations” making your travel smoother than ever before. You can expect exciting exhibits from leading brands like Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and more.

Design with Intention

Last year, there were over 138,000 CES attendees and 4,000+ exhibitors. Over 200 government leaders attended the conference, including three from The White House. It goes without saying, exhibitors should be prepared to put on their best show. You never know who might step into your booth!

We anticipate improved design architecture and enhanced attendee journeys. We’ll be looking at how exhibits are built—how they integrate technology and architecture to create experiences.

At CES 2024, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company chose Sparks to design their debut CES booth, showcasing their new technology and software, making tires smarter than ever before. The approachable booth included LED screens for broadcasting, vehicles showcasing partnerships and many meeting rooms including an interactive simulation room. Goodyear even won a CES 2024 Innovation Award.

So, how do attendees navigate each booth’s architecture and move through the environment they’re in? Aspects like lighting, patterns and interactive elements all contribute to attendee flow and experience. We’re interested in how designers may use new materials and think about booth spaces in new, creative ways.

A New Focus

How brands frame their approach to the theme of “Dive In” will be of particular interest, as CES 2025 sessions may take on a whole new vibe from prior years.

Though last year’s up and coming AI technology was a huge new aspect, it’ll be interesting to discover how brands are taking the technology to the next level.

The largest consumer technology event on Earth may have a history that is decades-old, but the coming year will be anything but business-as-usual, with advanced focuses on AI, digital health, vehicle tech and an expanded industry mix. We look forward to seeing which exhibitors rise to the top in 2025 and who will deliver the most compelling innovations and experiences.

Register for CES 2025 here, and we’ll see you in January.
